I have been lucky enough to work with the wonderful Stephanie Fellabaum recently doing modeling work for her Vintage store Laced With Romance. We have an editorial shoot tomorrow at an old abandoned airport here in Austin. Overgrown blacktops with empty terminals and vintage fashions. This opportunity is not being taken for granted! This year has been full of amazing chances to shine and grow. I cannot believe I am so fortunate! My femme fatale 1940's-50's styled look will be so incredible. There is a short film being made for the launch of the store's website, and plenty of shots to share. Not to mention Gogi gets to join and bring his motorcycle along for the ride. I'm expecting light and airy shots like the one above, with beautiful camera work and wonderful friends. I head to hair and makeup immediately after a waitressing shift at work. Things are cutting so close as of late! Busy busy, chin up...one step at a time.
All in all, I am getting some great work done before classes start. My loans came through and I'm moving right along. My schedule doesn't allow for error with five classes every day of the week. No more morning shifts for me! A long commute and some real college is a fair trade I would say. I will keep you updated on the shoot! Wish me luck!
