Every year prior to this one I have featured my resolutions on my livejournal account. Yet, as this is my newest location to store thoughts and media, why not here? Thus:
My 2010 Resolutions:
-Write at an even greater scale, possibly some short stories;
-Read even more, philosophy please!
-Use the gym membership I have, at least twice a week...seriously
-Delve into cooking more, assist Gogi!
-Move out of 22nd street apartment, and into a new and better home!

Resolved:
-I wrote, but maybe only an even amount as the years before. My writing wasn't nearly as intellectual or meaningful either. I suppose heartache and angst really do fuel the words.
-I read, yet not philosophy. This does not mean that the literature I covered did not lead me to my own findings, for Barbara Kingsolver and multiple Moliere encounters have left me feeling quite inspired. St. Edwards has improved my repertoire, and I intend to continue reading!
-The gym visits faltered out, as I have become more involved in school. Walking about campus and at work has however, kept me in shape!
-Cooking...we did a great deal of it in our new home. Yet, there is always more. I need to be more sustainable! This whole last week has been full of homemade meals!
-We did move! Possibly the best and greatest achievement of the year as a couple. Our house is still not quite finished, it's innards skewed. Things will soon take shape.
Overall 2010 was an amazing year. I managed to snag a modeling job with Converse, met wonderful new friends, and moved into a house of my own. I now model for Laced With Romance, see friends more regularly, attend a private university, and have maintained a stable job throughout it all. My relationship hit the three year mark and is running strong, and I am feeling fairly invincible! I hope to say the same things about the coming year.
My 2011 Resolutions:
-I must maintain a high GPA so as to receive high academic standing!
-I desire a new car...by new I mean classic. A Dart, Nova, Camino, or Ranchero. Let the savings begin, so that I may pass this Honda on to another more wanting person.
-Travel...wherever it may be. (I am planning a flight to Brooklyn in April!)
-Collage, scrapbook, and fill more moleskins please!
I bought those same shoes not too long ago and THEY HURT SO BAD. same for you? any tips?
ReplyDeleteMine aren't bad at all, are the heels real wood or cork? that makes a huge difference!
ReplyDeleteI think just fake wood? I got them from forever 21 and because the sole is so thick I expected them to be wonderful but they're some of the worst that I've ever owned!
