Gogi bought us tickets to see South African band Die Antwoord for our three year anniversary. While their weird lyrics and silly references are pleasing, it was the actual live performance that blew my mind completely. I will be posting images of Yolandi Visser and her fashion tomorrow, this albino songstress is just unbelievably rad. Her hip-hop stage presence and bad-girl style made me drool. Jack Black and Jessica Alba were there for the show, in full Zombie/Popeye attire. It was an amazing Halloween, and such a great anniversary gift.
I highly recommend Die Antwoord (Afrikaan for "The Answer") to anyone with any open mind or a music lover in general. Their performance will not let you down, after all...how many fly South African Albino ladies have you seen rap about ninjas?
